Monitoring for Action: understanding Western Australia's changing marine and coastal environments

November 2009

Western Australia's marine environment offers a wealth of biodiversity, unique marine habitats, abundant resources and social values.

The Western Australian Marine Science Institution (WAMSI) has more than 50 projects dedicated to monitoring the marine environment.

The symposium outlined what people are doing today and how we can further improve our approaches to marine and coastal monitoring.

Attached are many of the power point presentations. A DVD featuring all power point presentations, videos of speakers and abstracts is also available.
