WAMSI has created a collage of images in the form of a small Coffee Table book to acknowledge the public good marine research undertaken by it partners from 2006 to the present day.

From mid 2006 the Western Australian Marine Science Institution (WAMSI) had a focus to improve the coordination of marine science activities and the understanding of the marine and estuarine ecosystems of Western Australia (WA). It has enhanced our predictive capacity and our ability to model both natural and human effects to further inform marine management decisions.

A COMPILATION OF WAMSI RESEARCH SPANNING 2006-2011

The DVD brings together the key information which showcases the achievements in marine and climate science by WAMSI’s partners in areas as diverse as oceanography, climate variability, biodiversity, a detailed understanding of Ningaloo Marine Park, sustainable fisheries and biodiscovery.

WAMSI brings together some of Australia’s best scientific minds, project teams and resources to work on the big strategic scientific issues of the day.
