Change in Coastal Fishing Communities

Australia’s coastal towns, many built around fisheries and tourism, are particularly vulnerable to climate change. South west and south east Australia are marine hotspots — they are warming much faster than the rest of the world. Fish populations are changing as the seas warm.
These preliminary brochures combine census and other existing research information collected from the three coastal towns in Australia, St Helens TAS, Bowen QLD and Geraldton WA.
