Research at the Rowley Shoals, Western Australia.

Research coordinated by the Australian Institute of Marine research took place at the Rowley Shoals. Coral species, fish populations, biodiversity and marine stocks were recorded by 16 AIMS and WA Department of Environment and Conservation scientists.

Ningaloo Reef research

Scientists measure changes in coral growth along the 300-kilometre Ningaloo Reef in Ningaloo Marine Park. The research is one of the 87 projects falling under the Western Australian Marine Science Institution's umbrella.
