Computer graphics and the natural environment

Dr John Hedley from ARGANS Ltd / University of Exeter in the United Kingdom is conducting a series of talks and workshops at iVEC, ARRC, 26 Dick Perry Ave, Kensington WA. 

Dr Hedley is a marine biologist who utilises a variety of graphics algorithms and GPU techniques for modelling visualisation of the light environment of coral reefs and seagrasses.

Talk 1 Light in tropical shallow water environments will be held on Tuesday 7th September 2010, with the associated workshop Light in underwater photosynthetic canopies scheduled for Thursday 9 September 2010.

There is no charge to attend the talks and workshops but registration is required.
