Computer graphics and the natural environment
Dr John Hedley from ARGANS Ltd / University of Exeter in the United Kingdom is conducting a series of talks and workshops at iVEC, ARRC, 26 Dick Perry Ave, Kensington WA.
Dr Hedley is a marine biologist who utilises a variety of graphics algorithms and GPU techniques for modelling visualisation of the light environment of coral reefs and seagrasses.
Talk 2 Modelling complex lighting conditions in scattering media will be held on Wednesday 8 September 2010, with the associated workshop Efficient modelling of light fields and radiative transfer in complex media scheduled for Monday 13 September 2010.
There is no charge to attend but registration is required.
