A changing climate: symposium abstracts

The effects of climate change are expected to have a huge impact on Western Australia’s marine and terrestrial ecosystems and our environment. Organisations, institutions and agencies are carrying out a range of research activities which are directly relevant to climate change and its impacts.

The WAMSI cross-nodal symposium, A changing climate was a showcase of some of those research achievements, providing an outline of preliminary findings and suggestions of the pathways we need to take to ensure a sustainable future.

The value of this symposium was that it integrated many facets of climate change work across the State and Australia, giving a shared understanding of the scope of research and what it is trying to achieve.
